Reifenhäuser single-screw extruders allow you to process all common raw materials into a homogeneous melt, reliably and especially economically. All of our extruders are designed both for continuous and discontinuous operation mode.The individual heating zones are matched to the polymer melt condition and processing temperature. In this way we ensure that our technology works as energy efficiently as possible.
Geometry and surface structure of the screws are adapted by Reifenhäuser to the raw materials and intended applications. We always determine the optimum combination to ensure reduced wear also in high-performance production.
Over 90 percent of our extruders are manufactured in Germany according to our own specifications. This also applies to gearboxes and motors, so we can ensure that all components are matched to one another and to the respective application. All screws and barrels are manufactured inhouse by our sister company Reiloy Metall on state-of-the-art computer-controlled central turning and milling units. All barrels used in Reifenhäuser extruders are made of extremely hard wearing, corrosion-resistant bimetals.
